The caravan was cold, moist and moldy. The pillow was literally covered in black spots and was probably sentient. Like sleeping in a rotten tent really.

The worst Place I've ever been. Not the Trailer we booked. Boiler damaged, no warm Water or Heating. Walls and Doors had punching holes. After having food people had stomach problems. Vomit all night.

Nice and clean cabin with nice shower (we had the second cheapest), friendly personnel, cozy swimming pool included in the price (just like the mini golf) with a slide inside and outside. Location is great with a beautiful natural park just outside, and Kaatsheuvel and (somewhat farther) Efteling within walking distance. We did have some loud neighbors, but at 23:00 everything was silent, in accordance with the park rules, I guess that is part of the camping experience.

So, I booked a last minute 4 nights via Vakantieveilingen and I thought I had a good dealuntil I read all the bad reviews. I was prepared for the caravan park of hell, in my mind it would be like the caravan park of little Britain on steroids. I packed more cleaning products than clothes and I braced myself for the dirty, unkempt and antisocial experience I had read about. OK, the beds could have been more comfortable and the mini golf was in a very distressed statebut the bungalow was clean and well equipped, the pool was great and my children also enjoyed the play areas. The check in was quick and easy (someone was waiting by the entry with our keys and information so we didn't even have to leave the car!).
There were areas and other mobile homes which looked a little worse for wearbut for me the worst experience was lunch at the restaurant. For 8.25 euros we got a burger, no salad or friesjust a horrible industrial sub-standard white bun with a burger made of pureed frikandel meat- the worst quality from the supermarket deep freeze section. The soup was a glorified cup a soup, and the omelette was cold and tasted like airplane food (seriously, how can you mess up an omelette?). So VERY overpriced, and VERY substandard quality. Lesson learned. We cooked in our bungalow the rest of the time. There is an AH supermarket not too far and the camping shop wasn't ridiculously expensive (like the restaurant) so it was fine. I did hear stories from our neighbors about their bungalows and kitchenware being filthy, so I guess its not a myth, but we were lucky and our experience was positive.

Most horrible experience a person could give himself. Eventhough the cleaning crew needed "all the time" untill 15:00, the cottage was dirty as hell.

The beds are horrible, the walls are as thin as paper and let's just not mention the bathroom
