  Beautiful, peaceful place. Penguins cross your path, there are small indiana-jones-style side paths for the kids everywhere, and the upkeep is excellent. Toilets aren't that fancy, reminds me of lowlands festival.

  regular visitors when we are in Netherlands. Allowing children to walk between the animals eg. Emu's and door feeding sessions with lemurs whilst they hop on your shoulders. distances easy to cover in the park.

  Absolutely brilliant to be able to walk around the zoo all the animals have their own space. Relaxed atmosphere and small adventure trails for children and adults between animals.

  It's a great place to go with kids, animals walk around, it creates nice experience. Also, there is an opportunity to see how animals are feed (tigers are particularly impressive). It was my second visit, definitely will come again.

  Amazingly perfect zoo. Not too crowded, loved walking through the animals, laid out very well. Staff were very helpful and courteous.

  Lovely zoo, unexpected in a small town like Overloon. Situated in a landscaped park, the zoo avoids visible fencing as much as possible. Along the main route are small byways for the kids to climb and discover. Friendly guides add to the overall atmosphere. Would have rated 5 stars if the kiosk half way down the route had some inside seating, it unfortunately lacked cover for the autumn winds.

  In the middle of nowhere there is this little zoo. Do not expect many spectacular animals or a lot of them. Let yourself be carried away by the ambiance and enjoy the little surprises you discover around the next corner.

  You expect a zoo in a small town to be a cross between a petting zoo and an old caged animals kind of place. Overloon Zoo is neither of those things, a lovely open zoo with a really nice selection of wildlife to see. I totally recommend it for a visit.
  
  It also has a good park area for the kids to play in, if I lived locally I'd buy an annual pass.
