An interesting place to visit. They take in sick seals and nurse them back to health, or prepare young seals for the wild.
To finance this you can visit their center, which is awesome. Very well done with a lot of activities, shows and almost too much information.
It's only €7,50 per ticket for an adult so go have a look. An hour well spent.
Thanks for all the volunteers helping out.
This seal rescue centre is small but the staff is really doing a good job with a lot passion and knowledge. It is a bit remote so you have to combine it with some other activities like 'wad lopen'.
A very nice hospital. A great job.
You can see seals like in no other place
Interesting and decently setup, but not somewhere you can spend more than 2-3 hours. Good learning for kids if they have any interest in sealife.
Very cool place to become familiar with seals and Waddenzee!
Beautiful place. Must visit.
Very nice visit with many seal. Interesting especially for families with children.
Lovely establishment with adorable seals and a big emphasis on sustainability and environmental protection!
Interesting museum connected to an world wide known care center for seals.
The young seals are so cute!
I missed facts about seals like how long they can rest underwater or how fast they can dive etc. But maybe I just did not see it.
There is also a film (20') about them!
Absolutely a nice place to visit when you are in the area. It's really impressive to see how they take care of the seals. Even with smaller kids it's an entertaining place. They even have a small café where you can drink a cup of coffee or eat a grilled cheese sandwich.
An interesting place for a visit, however it is relatively small place. The behind the scenes tour was interesting and it is definitely worth the €2,50.
