Best Apple tart in town! It's not even on the menu but it's a must in Amsterdam. Very nice, chill vibe as well. Great for hanging out with friends
Like many of these places with high scores the reality doesn’t quite match the hype, but it’s a nice little shop. Go here early in the morning for breakfast and coffee and avoid the crowds. Lovely staff, as is often the case in Amsterdam, but you may wait a little bit for service.
The most popular Apple Pie shop in town! Consider sharing one as the crust is too dense. If I am very hungry, it can replace a main meal for me. To be able to skip the long queue, try to visit the place on a day other than Saturday as Noordermarkt is settled by the shop on Saturdays.
Good apple pie, but the highlight is the whipped cream (and I'm normally not a fan). Wish the pie was warm. Latte came about 2-3min later which kinda sucked. Place is nice. Sat at the bar and it was still super nice.
Yummmmm, so good we came back for a second visit. We are only in Amsterdam for four days this trip. You MUST have apple pie. If you want go ahead and order other food but save lots of room for apple pie. If you're interested in a small plate of food get the pie.
If you're one of those who want to check it out just cos it's supposed to have the best appelstrudel in town, I'd suggest lowering your expectations just a bit. I wouldn't say that's the case - but still I'd say it's pretty good and do try it with the whipped cream for sure. Its a great place to hangout - be it breakfast or later in the day for some drinks
Best Apple Cake and cappuccinos in Amsterdam. Affordable at €20 for three slices and 3 cappuccinos. Had to queue out the door to the corner of the street but moved quickly and was well worth the wait. Sent a friend to scout for a table while we waited in line.
I stopped here for a slice of apple pie on my way to visit a few attractions in the area. The cafe itself is very cute, and very central with a nice view. And the apple pie is both cheap and amazing. It's such a large portion, too!
Came here for brunch and had a pretty normal European sandwich with a amazing apple pie!
I would definitely come here again for the pie. The food was good too and it was all priced adequately! I've heard there eggs are great I just want hungry enough.
All the staff was nice and friendly too.
Staff is friendly but I can see how some people might be upset about service -- definitely pretty slow compared to most places, although it was pretty crowded/busy when I went on a Wednesday night after going to the Anne Frank house. I did not try the apple pie, just ordered salmon with paella. The salmon was significantly hotter. I wouldn't recommend coming here for dinner, but they did make a delicious hot chocolate (made with milk!) & water is free!! There's also plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors.
I take any visitor who have a sweet tooth here for apple pie. I highly recommend you take the whipped cream, it's what makes the dessert exceptional. The slices are generous and the atmosphere is cool because it's not the type of place you would expect to have the best cake in town!
Not sure why some people feel so entitled and deserve immediate service. I came in for a to-go order for a couple slices of pie. The servers acknowledged my presence while still being very busy. They were very friendly and promptly got my order done as quickly as they could! The pie was amazing! great place to check out!
Excellent pie with amazing apple filling and the crust is to die for. Truly worth the few minutes wait! Delicious and tasty. Thanks for making Amsterdam even more worthwhile!
Would you like to try the most delicious apple pie in the world? Then come here. Simple place with great outdoor seating. Serves coffee and drinks and apple pie. Might serve other food, but why would you? Not really a sweet food fan, but dear God. Do not visit Amsterdam without visiting here.
