I love this park. You can borrow a bicycle for free and enjoy endless amount of good bicycle paths in beautiful surroundings.

For readers from abroad: as nature goes, the Veluwe has the best the Netherlands can offer which is not a spectacular lot. It is the neatest national park you will ever see though, especially when you ride a bike. Which you will, even if you don't bring your own: there's white bicycles available within the park, and they are free to use. Note, if you are looking for a camping, that you are in the Dutch Bible Belt, and some camping owners love pushing their faith on you by not allowing you to check in or out on Sundays. There will be a sign where this is the case, but it never hurts to double-check as well.

Great Dutch National Park, the entrance fee however is ridiculous so just pick a beautiful walk in the area's around. Just as beautiful and free for everyone to enjoy

Largest Forrest area in the Netherlands, if you are in luck you might see red deer or a group of wild boar. Great place for hiking or cycling

The Veluwe en all it 's historical and beautifull sites is the only remaining forest in the Netherlands. I hope it will be preserved.
