I never have a bad thing to say about this Hotel. The rooms are as you would expect for the price and the food is excellent. The staff are always helpful and try their best to help even when English isn't their 1st language and I don't really know what I want.

Beautiful rooms, great food, friendly staff. Only disadvantages are the long distance in the hotel for breakfast and dinner across a very cold corridor and in the evening helicopters are flying for a long time

I've been to van der valk at least 4 times in work related events. I like this place, rooms are neat and luxurious, recently priced, and restaurant has good food. Restaurant waiters seems to struggle with English many times. Menu somewhat pale, only side dish seems to be fries.

My stay here was pleasant overall. The rooms are tidy and comfortable. This, paired with a good restaurant and access to various facilities (including a swimming pool, sauna, and gym), made the stay very enjoyable. However, some things could be improved. Though the restaurant serves very good food, the number of vegetarian options is a fairly small compared to the amount of dishes with meat and/or fish. Another problem is the location. Though the location is perfectly accessible via car, being located close to a major motorway, it is more difficult to get to via public transport. This is especially the case on the weekends, when the closest bus is a fifteen to twenty minute walk away.

Review for those with a disability: we had booked a large deluxe room so my girlfriend could manoeuvre around in her wheelchair. The room was on the far side of the hotel's terrain, in the very last room of a different building than the main one. A regular room would actually be advisable for those in a wheelchair, since the bathroom facilities were more suited for wheelchair in terms of lay-out. Also, the regular rooms are located in the main building, where the public adjusted toilets are.
The public adjusted toilets in the main building(again, far removed from our room) were the only option for her, but one was completely useless with the diagonal grab bars attached to the walls on the side of the toilet, which are too far from the toilet for a lot of wheelchair users to properly reach. The other one has adjustable grab bars you can pull up and lower, but the positioning is troublesome. I had to assist to pull up the first grab bar in order for my girlfriend to reach the toilet. Then I had to manoeuvre myself out of the corner, into the wheelchair, drive it out of the room so the door could be closed Not ideal, and not advisable at all without help for people in a wheelchair.
Service, maintenance and breakfast were topnotch, though. Though I have to add that the adjustable grab bars are in need of replacement. Maybe a different lay-out altogether for the adjusted toilets isn't such a bad idea either.response / report this review -

Great hotel with modern, clean and overall good facilities. Bedroom was quite spacefull for a couple and the bathroom was very nice. The room was a bit on the darker side and the system to control the lights aren't as responsive as I would have liked. A few more lightspots for better lighting would be better.
Overall service was great, and the food in the restaurant was also very very nice. If you come here take the chicken curry, it's delicious.response / report this review -

Great place to stop for some lunch. Varied menu with great options, from burgers to salads to fried eggs. Frankly, the service leaves a lot to be desired, especially in terms of serving speed but that didn't diminish the experience too greatly.

great hotel with beautiful view outside, tasty food and very nice waitresses. rooms are nice, tidy and comfortable with saunas and jacuzzi baths where you can relax after long day at work while you are on a business trip. I can recommend that hotel to everyone who wants to find a place to stay in for a business trip or private visit.

Goede paasbrunch gehad goed eten en zeker niet duur. Hele goede middag gehad en personeel was erg goed bezig. Enige tip is om het buffet in een betere route te laten lopen nu is alles dwars door elkaar.
