Inside very well decorated, spacious, sense of quality. Friendly, quick, professional, witty staff,
Had a light meal with my mother, her soup was fresh and tasty, my club sandwich was too, good portion size, nice plates & presentation.
Side order of chips was in inspiring, but my request for lots of mayonaise to dip was quipped with a good size bowl of the stuff, well done, top marks for the student who waited on us.
Prices om in relation to producr, very good overall experience.

Great location for professional events. Catering is very good and the staff are friendly. The facilities are well maintained and there is good wheelchair access. I would recommend this location to organisations and individuals.

I experienced this hotel several times during my business trips.
The hotel was a given a makeover recently. The bedrooms are comfortable and the meeting rooms well equipped. The food is amazing both at breakfast and lunch buffet and at "à la carte" dinner. I will suggest this accomodation!

This is the best hotel in Assen. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Speaking English here is no problem. I definitely recommend having some of your meals here at the hotel, especially breakfast, but even the bar area is a great place for food. Ask to try the Maalust beer.

You know that you are in a high end hotel with the van der valk . Rooms are five star, the restaurant has been refurbished the food is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel

Easy to reach with many parking places. Big and super clean bathroom with bath and shower. Very friendly employees. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

Hotel lobby is currently being renovated. Rooms are recently renovated and are clean, roomy and nice. The hallways still give a dated impression and smell a bit, not a problem in the rooms. Restaurant menu is varied and surprisingly decent. Overall pretty good stay.
