Friendly staff, great facilities and plenty to do nearby. The campsite grounds are well maintained, generally clean and tidy, as are the toilet/ shower/ washing up facilities.

Nice friendly Dutch camp with a play park and indoor outdoor pool. We stayed in a two bedroom caravan ran by Eurocamp who had six or more caravans in the camp. It rained a lot which meant we spent a lot more time in the caravan than planned. Caravans were smallish for my family of five with three hyperactive boys under 8 but suited our needs well. If you have more docile children then it would be fine! The free WiFi was good and I'd brought a tv plus Xbox so we could watch Netflix through it. Netflix ran smoother on tablets though. My kids loved the pool, indoor was very warm so even my wife got in to splash about. We always went in the last two hours as it closed at 8pm and would tire the kids out for bed. It's 45 mins from Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Nearest beach Nordwijk was ten minutes drive. Our favourite, loads of beach bars with swings and things for young kids to play while you can relax and have a Heineken. Food pricey but ice lollys cheap! Bring a picnic! Katwijk was a smaller, quieter version two miles south, and Scheveningen was a bigger version 30 minutes drive south, beside The Hague. Would of loved to try more beaches but weather wasn't with us. Leiden is a mini version of Amsterdam with a big University population so great for bargain shopping. Rotterdam was great to explore. Best tip is use the waterbuses as a very cheap way to see the city. Had a good time but would of been great with more sunshine!

perfect quiet base for a wonderful trip.
great swimming pool, park and lake for kids.
very family orientated ,staff helpful shop and restaurant on site.
Would highly recommend this site for those who like these sytle of holidays and make the most from whats around you.
