Utter hellhole. Grotty little apartment which smelt of damp. Dirty washing in machine, tiny cramped shower room and toilet (shower leaked), bugs in room, no opening windows, on street level so couldn't have blinds up as bed was right next to windows, disgusting facade with graffiti all over, Rude owner, payment card wouldn't work and he advised us to get cash out (not on a credit card thanks) so took us to the shop to take payment. When we complained through credit card consort at the state of the accommodation , they couldn't help as our payment wasn't made to true love, it was a different company. How very convenient!! The owner is a con man and shouldn't be providing accommodation. I wouldn't put my dog in there.

Room was not at location stated when we purchased it. It was not the room in the photo. It is underground a few blocks away from the office. The office, the location given where we thought we were staying, was never open at the times the manager said it was. When we arrived the first day to get our room keys the manager was not there so we had to stay at another hotel, but pay for the night we missed. The managers assistant lied, saying he was waiting for us to arrive, but we rang the bell multiple times with no answer. The assistant also would come by at 6am and rattle the gate, waking us up, just to make sure we were there. There are nicer hotels for cheaper in Amsterdam. I would not stay here nor refer anyone to this place. The manager is rude and does not care about his customers. It's run down and looks like the manager doesn't care to take care of the facilities.

Cool space that is close to the canals and sights. This is basically a small room rental at floor level, it is not a hotel/hostel. Make sure you sync up with the owner ahead of time in order to get keys/instructions.
