Charming 100 yr old theater in the colorful Jordaan 'hood showcases leading and up-and-coming indie flicks. Nab a glass of wine from the bar and curl up in the cozy lounge pre or post show.

Go to The Movies for the classic movie evening. The program is in between art house movies and blockbusters. The interior, smell and atmosphere will make a great impression.

The place is always packed but the café is nice to sit in between movies. The coffee is decent but nothing spectacular (get that across at Two for Joy). Most fun: hanging out in front of the door.

A really beautiful old fashioned cinema that screens independent films with a restaurant/bar attached. A great place for a dinner and a movie combo.
