Many different wildlife seen in different nature parks. Large groups of zebras, elephants, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, lions and giraffes.
The driver was able to find the animals well. A friendly man who could speak good English. He took good care of us. Bring a lunch box for the road. every morning the jeep was neatly clean.
The lodges usually with pool , were good.
We slept 2 nights in a tent in a wildlife park. Great to do. We had to take the rules seriously. Logical.

A rest day to process all impressions would have been nice.

Enjoyed the wonderful weather on zanzibar. Good breakfast. Nice and beautiful swimming pool and cozy eateries where you could eat well. At the sea you eat fish, but the spaghetti and pizza was also good.

The driver on Zanzibar who drove us around for a day had forgotten that we also had to eat and pee etc.. Went to Stone Town and a spice farm.
In Stone Town they have factories where they can process wood very nicely. I didn't understand the slave trade museum.
The spice farm was interesting, but you didn't see where the spices were dried, processed and what they were doing now.

We had a perfect summit to Mount Kilimanjaro November 2019.
Tanzania specialist did inform us with all details before we left.
At arrival our Mountain guide, Inram , did pick us up at the airport and did a good briefing. After sleeping in Moschi in a hotel for 1 night we met the team (Simba) that was helping us to the top. This was a super team: hard work, always fun and very experienced. The weather was not that good because we were still in the short rain season, but the team helped us to the top! Also the food during the 5 days was a 5 star plus eating experience. While talking to other climbers during the trip we experienced how important it is to have such a good team.
We recommend Tanzania Specialist and also Inram, Gidion and their team Simba if you want to climb Kilimanjaro. This doubles to changes to reach the summit!

We have been a lot on safari's during the past years in South Africa and Botswana and Zimbabwe. We like nature very much but wanted a change of scenery. Came in contact with Tanzania specialist and planned a safari and additional relax week in Zanzibar. They are very knowledgeable and flexibel in the planning and we put together a great trip. We arrived on Friday Januari 25th and were met by our driver/ranger Moses on the airport and he brought us to our first lodge. The next day we had a relax day at the lodge and after that we visitid Arusha National Park, Tarangirer NP, four days Serengeti en Ngorongoro Crater. After that we spend a week on Zanzibar. Everything was very well organized, all the lodges were great en even in the tented camps in the Serengeti it was very comfortable and great food. We had amazing sightings and our driver/ganger Moses was very knowledgeable. It was a private safari so we had the jeep and ranger for the entire safari trip. Means you can influence the time of the drives and of course the sightings. Moses found everything we would like to see so that was great. All together we had an amazing experience and I can recommend Tanzania Specialst, they meet the highest standards. The good thing is that they also have an office in Arusha so they can react very swiftly if needed.
