  Nice quiet place for a good sleep, just 10-15mins cycle into city centre, showers a bit lukewarm but toilets are clean. €9.45 per night for a single person in a tent with no car does not cover toilet paper though (!), so remember to bring your own.

  Largest park in the city of Groningen. Bit of center. Some nice activities as several dancepartys en of course Bevrijdingsfestival (every 5th of May). Nice restaurant in the center of the park (Ni Hao); playground, children'sfarm and as of 2018 or so 'De Wandeling'.

  Super Nice for a stroll or picknick, with a great playground for children (3-12yrs.) as well. 20 minute walk from the main station.

  Beautiful on sunny summers day. There is an animal park that has nice animals to look at. Sometimes there are music festivals at this park in various areas. Great place to go for a jog.
