It's more a park than a zoo, and that's a good thing. You can walk around and enjoy all kinds of animals. They also offer a bussafari and a boatsafari. With the bus you drive between the animals like on a real safari. This way you have the opportunity to see animals from up close and the guide gives information.

Very nice staff.
A very big variety of mainly African animals of which some are all put together in big plains.

We had an amazing day here. The park is set up in a fun way, with not only the animals, but tons of play opportunities for the kids. There're several ways to go around. We walked, took the boat, than drove our own car. We are all tired, but very happy. Great day!

Impressive that such a safari park is maintained in Netherlands weather. Don't expect too much animal action. 🦁 and cheetahs were lying down and sleeping. Most active animal was giraffe. Bus safari is in complete Dutch. Even though the leaflets say that the bus safari is 45 + 45 minutes long, actually it is much shorter, especially the return journey.

Kind and nice staff. Wide variety of animals with the safe and healthy condition. You gonna enjoy the real Africa. But i wish i could catch the eagles show. If you gonna see the eagles, you need to attend their show and if you lose the time of this show, there's no way to watch them. Anyway lovely place is waiting for visitors.

Very nice place. but I expected a bit more. Safari is really big and you can get tired of walking. Views are amazing, so it's worth it. Boat cruise is short but interesting experience. Bus is okay, however you'll not see too much different animals.They have really tasty food in a restaurant, but staff there leaves a lot to be desired

Such a wonderful place to be! Enormous variety of animals and birds in a superb setting as if they are still in their own wild environment.
The half-hour boat trip on the "Livingstone" was very interesting and was made more pleasant for me as I could easily access the deck using my "scootmobiel". A thoroughly enjoyable day. Invalid toilet easily accessible too.
Just loved the whole day.

Great place to spend the day. In this safari zoo you can take the bus, your own car, boat or even walk. The animals are very well taken care of and the facilities are great. I enjoy an annual subscription which allows me to have unlimited visits for a small amount. Really recommend this place.

My family and I were staying in the jungalows on the camp site next door. Plenty of choice for transport to reach the safari park (eg. shuttle bus, car, walk). Similarly, there's ample choice for exploring the safari park. You can see the animals by car, boat, bus and even walk around the park.
Whilst the size of the park may be daunting, the owners have placed plenty of playgrounds and walking trails in between to ensure little children are kept entertained. Do take a food and water with you, however, cakes and pastries are worth trying in Kongo Restaurant, which can be found at the top of the park.response / report this review -

Loads of animals in great habitats. The Auto Safari was great, but I'd thoroughly recommend the wandelsafari (walking) as you get closer to the animals and get a better viewing point. There's a rest area/shop/restaurant/snack/toilets at the far side of the park, so you can take a break. The monkey island which you can see from the restaurant is a great distraction for the kids :) A lovely day out.

Visited this park on 18/03/2017 as part of a group trip from Brussels with my friend. We took walking safari, bus and boat safari. The place is beautiful, a lot of birds singing around, animals are 'dangerously close'. The only problem was the language - didn't understand a word in the bus safari and Birds of prey show, the guide in the boat safari explained in English also which was a big relief. The whole trip was completed in around 5hrs including the lunch break. A leisure safari trip all together :)

I loved it. A lots of animals from all over the world. Many activities for children and playgrounds in the park. Just don't waist your time on a car safari, better take few hours walking.

Great zoo where the animals are kept in their close to natural environment. You can spot the big five, enjoy a bird show and experience a safari in your own car! You can also choose to see the safari plain by boat, bus or walking. There is a great variety of restaurants and gift shops. I love to go here with our young children and I am sure that I will still love this zoo when they are older.
