Such an awesome place to stay. Great rooms, great value fantastic breakfast. Really beautiful place.

Stayed here for MEP. The food is alright not too special. However i must admit that the view is amazing.

I had a pleasant stay at Rolduc. The location and its surroundings are beatiful and tranquil. The parking space is nearby and has enough spots. Although it was a bit too quiet and I lacked some ambiant music I fully enjoyed my dinner at the restaurant. The food quality is of a good standard. I'd would love to come back once more.

It is a nice setting but in terms of hotel services it is seriously lacking. The place is obviously old but they could have done something about the noise; I can hear everyone walking by or above me!
The food was below standard; limited breakfast and buffet lunch (if you get that). The restaurant was crazy expensive which should not be the case for the only accessible place to eat in a reasonable distance. Drinks were also too expensive. I hate it when the staff answers in German or Dutch when clearly we are a group of internationals. Lastly the receptionist, even though he was very polite, assured us that we don't have to book a place at the restaurant, but we should have as it was nearly full! Beautiful location and grounds. The Abby is from 1680s. There is a farm in front to the side, deer, chickens, goats, and swans. Went for a marriage retreat dinner. We ate in the basement bar. Very cozy, fit about 20 couples. The food was preselected. I had fish, my spouse had beef. Tasted good, prepared beautifully, nice presentation. Good wait staff.

Inside a historical building, nice and clean rooms, with lots of green areas outside. Service was very professional, the brasserie serves a good quality food but closes very early.

Have stayed here twice when attending a conference. All of the rooms appear to be of a similar high quality. The bathrooms may be a little dated in some but they are perfectly clean and they work. For a 900 year old property it has been incredibly well maintained. The staff are brilliant and even though we arrived very late the second time they ordered pizza for us.

Staff very helpful.
Even when I was late back from work & after dining finished, they rustled up a proper dinner (not just a snack).
When I tried to buy a bottle of water, I was offered a bottle at €6.50 but directed to free water on tap "if I preferred".
Working in Kohlscheid Germany, but I will not hesitate to pick here to stay when I return.response / report this review
