Surprisingly large collection of snakes, lizzards and other reptiles, including crocodiles and huge turtles in 2 townhouses in vlissingen. Peek in the nursery where tiny snakes and other newborns are kept in incubators. Can easily spend 3 hours. Highly recommended for kids and adults.

Der Reptilien Zoo war ganz schön. Aber könnte etwas günstiger sein, deshalb nur 3 Sterne statt 5 Sterne. Wir haben 90min dort verbracht und in einem Parkhaus um die Ecke geparkt und uns noch die wunderschöne Innenstadt angeschaut. Solltet Ihr unbedingt auch machen. Das Parkhaus ist von den Gebühren echt in Ordnung.

This was a very interesting "zoo" to visit and a lot of time was spent reading the information about the reptiles, where they are from and what this zoo does to save them. However, this is getting a lower rating because the living conditions of the reptiles are not ideal and there were plenty of flies and bugs flying around while trying to view the reptiles. I am sure continuous work and effort is being put in to the place and that upkeep cannot be cheap, but things such as having real plants in the exhibit and sod, grass, sand, etc. on the ground might make the reptiles more comfortable and would create a better experience for guests.

Duur parkeren! Veel dieren die gered zijn. Vriendelijk personeel maar wel achterstallig onderhoud. Verder prima om met je kids heen te gaan.

Iguana is een reptielenzoo welke is gevestigd in een oude rechtbank in het centrum van Vlissingen. Naast een zoo is het ook een opvang voor onderschepte illegaal getransporteerde reptielen en amfibieën. Zo kan het zijn dat je dieren ziet met missende pootjes of staarten.
Er is een grote collectie aan reptielen, amfibieën en insecten met goede uitleg over de herkomst en leefstijl. De meeste dieren zijn goed te zien in hun terraria, al zullen ze veelal rustig liggen te zonnen of af te koelen (zoals de meeste reptielen graag doen).
De reden voor vier sterren: het is een oud gebouw en dat is goed te zien. Ik ben er jaren geleden al eens geweest, maar het is niet veel verandert.response / report this review -

Erg leuk! Locatie is wel behoorlijk aan vernieuwing toe, maar draagt ook bij aan het plezier! Overal kamers met reptielen in panden met cultuur.

Mehr als man denkt! Wir haben gut 2 Stunden in diesem Reptilien-haus verbracht bis wir durch waren. Es gibt viel zu sehen, sehr Empfehlenswert
