Visited the hospital after midnight for an urgency due to an infection. I was given one page to fill in my personal details, medication and sicknesses. I take no medication but in the field of sicknesses I filled in the name of the enzyme deficiency I have, which requires certain medication to be forbidden. The doctor nevertheless just prescribed a forbidden medication to me, and thankfully this was noticed by the pharmacist who took half an hour to call the doctor, explain and decide for an alternative. If I had taken the wrong medication, I could have undergone hemolysis ( basically spontaneous destruction of red blood cells) resulting to icterus which can be fatal.
I gave birth in this place, so far they were tolerant of a delivering woman (natural labor). I know I was kind of getting mean, well, I was probably not the first to be mean so they were tolerating me. I thank for their patience.
Before that, they gave scheduled free sessions for upcoming mothers to think about their options when giving birth. That was very helpful.
One ting though, the food was horrible! But that's hospital food, so what one can expect anyway, right?
Overall, I was happy with my experience.
big and clean hospital
Horrible place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Especially mister de Vries hand surgeron of this hospital is a butcher and his whole team including rude assistants.. Stay away of them!
I had a little surgery to remove a glass split from my left hand. There was no discussion about possible damage to my nerve before this procedure. When on the table under sedatives mr de Vries cut my hand damage my nerves irreversibly and left with a bad looking scar forever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never trust these people!
Had a panic attack for the first time in my life, which can end up to something very serious. At that moment felt like a heart attack, but not knowing what it was, i rushed to the hospital while crying and couldnt breathe, the woman at the reception simply told me: call to book an appointment and then she gave me the phone number on a piece of paper in a very bad manner, not polite, nothing.
So far ... so good... no complaints... the new building is amazing... be sure you have the patient card before trying to enter to your appointment
