Very nice place, clean and organized. Only thing is that the internet connection allows only 2 devices to be connected while there are 11 in the house.
In october: not to busy or to quiet. Nice camping spots for caravan users. Some old and new toilet/shower buildings on site. A shop, play area for kids (in the main building) restaurant is terrible. A lot of flyes inside and the food could be better. People next too us were recieving theire food, wich they did not order, for 3 times in a row.
The reception is fine but could give some better info too people arriving with clearer signs outside at the road. (much appreciated with caravan users)
They luckely have dutch cable television in a good condition. For people with a tv dish: theire are a lot of trees blocking the view too Astra 2 etc
The same trees lose a lot of theire seeds/nuts wich land on the caravans. ( A lot in october)
A lot of enter for the kids is possible.
Top
very nice for families with kids
Very beautiful park
Hell of an experience, totally wrecked our holiday, total nightmare, be warned!!!
Booked on line for our family, myself , husband , two sons and two dogs, got a confirmation email in Dutch, so being non Dutch speaking didn't understand it , but it seemed ok.
Arrived at the site, was handed out 2 pool passes, I asked about the ones for our sons, the receptionist said that they had not been included in the booking, so we paid extra for them.We were allocated a pitch and set up our caravan and awning etc. It had been a long day driving from the UK.
Next day took the dogs for a walk to explore the site, an employee from the park said that we were not allowed to walk our dogs on this part of the park, we apologized to him, and asked where we could go. He asked where we were pitched we explained and he said that our pitch didn't allow dogs and rang receptionist, we said that we would go into reception.
So we duly went into reception..What an experience.ShockingDisgusting Shameful!!!
We were told that the dog area was full and we had to leave!!!
We were on a row on our own , no one on the row of pitches either sides or opposite us , no one else in sight. We asked if we kept our dogs on our pitch only would that be ok, not wanting to upset anyone, our dogs are always on a lead.
No we were told to LEAVE !!! , mid afternoon miles and miles from home.
We asked if they could help us find a new campsite..Answer "No we're too busy"
We did manage to get money refunded for the nights we didn't stay, when my husband went to get our refund , he asked if we at least got an apology, the manager looked at him and said " no " and walked away !!!!!
We had experiences booked and people to see all lost.
Mid afternoon and had to pack up and find somewhere to go, ended up very late at night on a campsite in France, with friendly helpful staff.
Be warned , don't go near this place !!!!!
Find a lovely campsite, there are lots out there , but NOT this one !!!
After traveling from Derbyshire England a total of two days travel they forced us to leave as they had the booking all wrong which wasn't our fault. Didn't try to resolve or even help just told us to leave which we are disgusted with. Thanks for ruining our Easter holiday and wouldn't even help or apologise. Avoid at all costs struggled to find another site as was a Easter weekend so ended up driving back to France. Has now put us off the Netherlands thought people were nice.
Cool
Nice and quiet environment. Plenty of activities for kids.
Nice houses. Geared for families. Not much to do for adults without children.
