Mr Johan Pieters is the founder of the firm, Pieters Advocatenkantoor (Pieters Law Firm). In 2005, after working at a large law firm in the east of Netherlands, he decided to start his own (sole proprietorship) firm in Friesland as he has his roots there. Mr Pieters has a varied practice and has served clients throughout the Netherlands.

In addition to the requisite experience in cantonal courts, courts and courts of justice, he also has the necessary experience on the Board of Arbitration in connection with construction issues and various disputes committees. Furthermore, he is often called upon as a conciliator/mediator.
