The view over the lake at the outside terrace was beautiful. Nonetheless, the weighters were a little cranky, it took way too long to get everything, the bread my friend received with her soup was three times as much as I received. Also she got three spreads to accompany the bread and I only got two. The main course was tasteless, so I wouldn't really recommend to eat here. Just order a drink and enjoy the view.

Good overnight stay and great seminare. Unfortunately had a early morning, so couldn't experience the full beauty of the area.

This hotel was literally amazing! Me and my girlfriend decided to get away for a romantic valentines weekend and we found and selected the "valentines package" at the parkhotel horst, including a 5 course meal, luxurious breakfast, 1 night in a comfort room, which luckily for us over looked the gorgeous lake, shame it was raining the whole time but the view, peace and serenity was still top! The package also included access to the wellness center and complimentry drinks on arrival ( or whenever you wanted them) which were specifically awesome as it wasn't just presseco as i had imagined, which still would have been ok, but you could choose ANYTHING from the list of drinks, so of course i might have abused that and had one of the more expensive whiskeys ;)
Ok so the wellness centre was cool a nice pool with Jacuzzi and the best bit was a sauna, steamer, foot bath thing and general nude loundging about area, also if you would like a quick very funny laugh, place your significant other under the big bucket in the aformentioned area and pull the rope, then move yourself away fast! Hehehe
Ok so the room was brilliant, and the food was amazing, im not even going to anything about it just that you NEED to try it and just let the chef and the staff take you on that adventure! Ohhh and warning in advance there are several of those awful snobby couples that seem to just complain and be completely rude to the staff coming to the restaurant so please do what we did and quietly make fun of those losers from afar! Now the whole weekend was cracking and we also thought "screw it" we are on holiday so we treated ourselves to the massage from down next to the wellness spa on the bottom level of the hotel and OH MY GOD the wonderful masseuse-s work literal magic with there fingers, i can't recommend them enough! But the total highlight of the weekend was the staff and I'm not just saying it because I'm trying to be nice or any other reason, im saying it because it is fact! Each and every member of staff we came across during our stay greeted us with a smile, some nice chit chat (in what seems like every single language, seriously they all speak at least 4 languages! Very cool!) and seemed genuinely interested in us, like where we were from, how we were finding it, even asking about my job how i was transitioning in my new position and finding my new digs etc :) they were genuinely charming and one of the reception staff, i won't mention names as I'm not sure if it's ok to do on here or not, but whatever, she even recognised me from the phone booking i made and gave us great tips on a near by shopping location and even a discount card for it, which was fantastic and not only made it personal and warm but extremely helpful and showed the staffs ultimate dedication to the guests!!!
Loved this place, WILL be visiting again! 10/10 should absolutely be a 5 star!response / report this review
