It's a place of miracle and wonder. Normal people can experience what it might feel like to be royalty. The clean up and renovation plans are long overdue though. Glad they will start soon and make sure it will last another couple of hundred years or more.
Unique historic insights into the lives of Dutch royals. Beautiful palace, wonderful gardens and stables where you see horses, carriages and cars. Take a break in one of the two (I think) restaurants and don’t forget to take the museum quest for the kids. It helps you discover wonderful details, and there’s a reward for the little ones in it as well!
Beautiful palace garden and rooms to visit. Nice cafe, stunning entrance riding through paths lined with trees. Highly recommended.
So much to be learned about Dutch royal history here. Take the audio tour. Go have a cup of tea in the back of the gardens and enjoy the view of the grounds and palace from there. Allow the afternoon for your visit.
absolutely a wonderful palace and grounds to walk. lots of great memories, I wish there was an option for private tours that take you to rooms people dont normally get to see but none the less great place to see highly recommend !
This is one huge and best palace in the Netherlands which tourists should never miss. It has a French styled garden and lots of beautiful statues in it. The interior design of the palace is marvelous and you'll see lots of paintings and antiques. I was surprised that the former Dutch queen even had far-east porcelain and decoration. The park of Oude Loo will only be opened between April and May every year. The palace Het Loo is worthy to visit again and again.
Beautiful place with huge royal garden. Also, it has nice presentation to show history of Dutch royal family and their life style. The best thing is, besides dutch, they provide english description.
Queen Wilhemina's sanctuary, one of the beautiful palace in the Netherlands. The back garden is amazing!
Nice palace however it felt more like a art museum than a look inside a royal hunting lodge. Each room is dimly lid, which makes it difficult to appreciate the beauty of the wallpaper and paintings. No information was provided what the royals and their guests would do in each of the rooms - just a list of the art and that was it. Gardens are OK
