Best coffee shop in Amsterdam. A scene from Ocean's Twelve was filmed there. Also there is a cat named Bowie. Atmosphere is chill and mellow and the music is great too. I come there every time when in Amsterdam. Love it! It can get crowded and difficult to find place to sit though.

Came in choose from large selection and sat enjoying our spliff with a very tasty hot chocolate. Thanks for the fun visit and the t shirt!

Stopped in today while walking around. What friendly service. I only ordered coffee but the employees were so so nice and always had a smile. Stop in its a really cool little place you won't be disappointed.

Came here first day in Amsterdam. Was recommended to us. Fabulous place, everyone was so inviting and helpful. Would recommend it to all visiting.

One of the best cafes I've been to in Amsterdam. It's tucked in one corner. Must must must go to! Have the shakes there and the brownies!

People recommended this to us saying it's the most legendary coffee shop in Amsterdam. Did not disappoint. Apart from the 'good stuff', the smoothies were amazing as well☺️

Great hash, trees and milk shakes. Smoothies were one of the best we had in the 2x weeks we stayed out there. The cat was super soft a furry. I think the car moved one time to look around and passed back out instantly

I wish I could give 5 stars but I have to deduct because it is so busy with so many tourists.
Dampkring has very good weed and hash, very good coffee and even though it's crazy busy (standing room only most times) the staff somehow remains very friendly. I will keep visiting for the excellent staff. The budtender is very good and the girl behind the coffee counter who is new, she is so very nice. I wish I remember her name but she is 3 weeks new. She was very pleasant company for me and my partner.
The cat is also an excellent host. Also, they have this bottled tea called Firefly which I really liked. I could not find it anyplace else while I visited the Netherlands.
The budtender said that they will be expanding soon and I hope at that time it will be a little less congested.response / report this review -

Nice cozy place with great milkshakes! Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was really chill! Also a cat that hangs around there with the visitors. Place was not overcrowded at the time of visit which is nice as places in Amsterdam do get quite busy.

Extremely rude staff. The girl behind the bar knows absolutely nothing about customer service. Very intimidating. Also there could be more ventilation.

Perfect for smoking a couple of joints while in Amasterdam since the quality is really high. Still not so comfortable and really touristic. There are many other Coffeeshops that are worthed a visit if you are looking for a peaceful place.

Wasn't sure where to start, but I had seen this place in movies and was suggested it by the locals. Went in and described what I liked and didn't like, being a seldom smoker. I was given the absolute best, this place is worth the stop!
