De Nederlandse Adoptie Stichting (NAS) is een non-profit organisatie die bemiddelt in interlandelijke adoptie voor kinderen:
* die door hun biologische ouders niet (meer) opgevoed kunnen worden in een permanente en veilige omgeving;
* die niet door hun (extended) family opgevoed kunnen worden in een permanente en veilige omgeving;
* voor wie in het land van herkomst geen mogelijkheid is voor adoptie.

Hierbij maakt de NAS zowel voor de kinderen als voor de aspirant adoptieouders geen onderscheid op grond van etnische afkomst, sexe, leeftijd, religie, samenlevingsvorm of seksuele voorkeur.

The Dutch Adoption Agency (NAS) is a not-for-profit organization that mediates in intercountry adoption for children:
* who cannot (or no longer) be raised by their biological parent(s) in a permanent and safe environment;
* who cannot (or no longer) be raised by their (extended) family in a permanent and safe environment;
* for whom a national adoptive family in the country of origin is not available.

For the children as well as the prospective adoptive parents, the NAS does not discriminate on etnic heritage, gender, age, religion, family situation or sexual preferences.
