Located right in the center of Leiden. Small station, however, great variety of food and shopping options available, especially given its size. Convenient bus connections located within three minutes walking distance from main hall. Wide variety of train connes also available to Schipol, Amsterdamd, etc. Reaching by car can be complicated, best by foot, bicycle or bus.

Everything you need 'You can get at that Station ' Friendly and helpful People work there .The Bus you want outside the door and not ten mins walking the high street . and then Mac Donald's over the bridge 'and walk around 'it's a beautiful City Leiden .And the People that work at Leiden Train Station 'Friendly Helpful 'and this is from a Irish Man that got drunk and stoned .all on the same day 'First Day in Holland ,20 years later .The people working There are still as helpful as way back then ,

9 tracks divided by a and b. Very nice wait times and keeps bus schedules in mind. Loads of free protected bike parking and a great vary of stores that are open untill very late.

Good amount of facilities and shops within the station. Good connectivity with the bigger cities in the area, both by train as well as by bus. Parking your bike might get a little chaotic with the many garages usually being stuffed to the brim.

Excellent connections etc. but the entries to the station is a complete anarchy, with bicycles racing in all directions on walkways, people having skateboard training and cars parking in pedestrian crossings. People even park in the paths marked to help blind persons. There is no safe passage for walking and the place is dangerous for elderly people or people who have difficulties in walking.

Nice train station right in the middle of Leiden. Good connections with regionial buses, you never have to wait very long. Several shops (bookstore, mini AH) are available as well as some places to eat/drink.

A junction station- which is a blessing in a student city. A few places to shop and eat in and around, which is great, because I never had a dull moment while waiting.
The area outside is almost always littered by uncountable cigarette butts. I wish the gemeente did something about that.response / report this review -

Although the architecture is not quite to my liking, Leiden Central is a useful transport hub! The square on the city center side sees plenty of organised activities. Rent a bike here an explore this archetypical student town.
