Friendly staff, good breakfast and pretty good rooms, though that may vary a little from cosy to large and great location to OK. Still, location on the island is perfect with a good selection of restaurants within 15 minutes by bike. Great bartender!

The location is perfect, as it is in the centre of the island Terschelling. The rooms are very organised and spatious, and the cleaners do a good job of keeping everything clean. The food service is unusual, but I believe that ot's a great way of tackling dinner. By having a set dinner rotation of a few weeks, the people will eat something different every day ansthe food will be served very quickly, but it will still be of great quality. The workers are very friendly and very approachable. I am very happy with the accomodation and I can say with confidence that I'd suggest this hotel to everyone.

Een hotel waar men zich thuis voelt. Zeer klantvriendelijk. Kom er al 15 jaar met veel plezier. Onthaasten??? Kom naar Terschelling, hotel de walvisvaarder 🛳👍😘

Wij zijn net terug van een weekendje Terschelling en we zijn zeer goed ontvangen in de Walvisvaarder. Een aanrader voor iedereen die er even zorgeloos en ontspannen tussenuit wil. Krijgt van ons een dikke pluim voor alles. In één woord Geweldig.

Great hotel with neat large rooms. The bar and restaurant is very nice. Lots of board games if it is a rainy day.
