The location is near the train station, Volkspark and Saxion, providing easy access to these places. The rooms are clean and provide everything you need for both overnight guests and guests who stay for an extended amount of time. The breakfast has enough options and the quality is great. The staff is very polite and helpful.

Spent a night here on what was our belated 25th anniversary excursion, after Paris turned out to be a bridge too far for my ailing wife to manage. We didn't eat at the Hotel Restaurant, but it looked to be well prepared, clean and there were plenty of folks who did dine there. See my Flickr account for more Hotel Rodenbach photos. I might have given them five stars if the free wifi actually worked in our room. Other than that, the bathroom was a little cold, but there was plenty of hot water and both a separate bath and walk-in shower. Our room was well appointed and clean. Did not have a chance to test the TV, though it appeared to be a newer model flat panel with remote control and looked to be perfectly fine. There is no smoking in the hotel, but we had a room with a balcony so that took care of that. Hotel is just a few blocks from the main rail station in Enschede. Great travel hotel option. Enjoy.
