very nice hotel good location next to the frain station and convention center the hotel was was clean and the rooms were nice the breakfast was above average the staff was freindly and helpful the only thing i did not like was the charge for the sauna and fitness center.

I stayed 2 nights in NH Maastricht, due to a mistake made bij Novotel, where I initially booked a room. The personnel at the reception were friendly and polite, however the personnel attending breakfast were cranky and I only saw one of them smile (out of 7 working during breakfast). Although breakfast was not bad, i've had better at 4 star hotels in Holland. The room was not so clean, there weet pubic hairs on the bathroom floor when we first came on the room, there was a dead, squashed insect on the wall, during our 2 nights stay and trust me, that insect was in the middle of a white wall, clear to see. Me and my girlfriend will not stay at NH anymore.

The female staff on front desk are friendly, professional and frankly excellent. Be careful though if you are dealing with a male. I had prebooked and prepaid yet this male asked me for a credit card to cover additional costs during my stay. Two minutes after arriving in my room my bank where on the phone asking if the £880 transaction had been authorised. I told them no. They wanted to stop my card. I said let me sort it. After going down to reception the male staff member had gone but a very nice female who I didn’t get her name apologised and immediately rectified the problem crediting my card.
The restaurants are both good. The breakfast buffet is huge with a great choice. It is open from 7 am - 10 am during the week and 7:30 - 11 am or later each weekend and bank holiday. The Breakfast buffet is excellent value for money. Just two negatives, no baked beans and no brown sauce. Also if you are late you find that there are little or no mushrooms or tomatoes.
The other restaurant offer two menus. A set 2 or 3 course menu and an Al a Carte menu with a variety of choice. The steak that I had was amazing.
The rooms are clean and comfortable with a very small mini bar. There is a trouser press, room safe and HD TV. The only thing missing is an ice bucket, there is an ice machine at the start of the floor but they only offer a polystyrene cup to hold a small amount of ice. The bathroom is well stocked with shampoo, shower gel and moisturiser. The shower has various settings which get rid of your aches and pains. The cleaning staff are mostly friendly but there were a few very miserable females who said nothing and 'cleaned' the bathroom and room in less than five minutes.response / report this review -

Overall it is clean and comfortable. Excellent food. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. However do arrive late. Few mushroom and tomato. They also could Inc!use asked beans and have brown sauce. More to come

Large chain hotel walking distance from maastricht randwyck train station. Staff is very accommodating and helpfull. Has full spa amenities. Worth the price.

Rooms are standard. A little bit outdated. Bath tub /shower is made for tall people. Can be dangerous for short people. Breakfast was alright. Friendly staff.

Excellent location for functions I was attending next door at the mccc. The room was clean comfortable and the food was good. Would recommend and hope to be back in June.

The hotel is equipped with cozy & nice rooms, however the steak served in the restaurant downstairs was too chewy to be eaten. Frankly speaking, we expected better quality of our main dishes.
