  We came here with some trepidation after reading the other reviews, but it was fine.
  The room was big, with a good bathroom, reception was friendly and the location is good.
  Yes, the beds are soft, but that's all a matter of taste. We slept well on them.
  Breakfast is fine, with a good choice of bread and toppings, yoghurt, cereals and fruit. Although it's not on the table, staff will make you a cappuccino if you like.
  One thing that others have noted and that is sadly true: the walls are not sound proof. You can hear your neighbours talking. So bring ear plugs for the night if it bothers you.
  All in all we had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

  Wij troffen slappe bedden aan, toch wel een ding wat in het hotel goed geregeld moet zijn.
  Hygiëne kan beter, vloerbedekking vies. De aangeboden wifi stelt niet veel voor. Tv scherm akelig klein en een slechte beeldkwaliteit. Badkamer is prima maar biedt geen overbodige luxe. Parkeren in de omgeving is lastig. Ontbijt is goed te noemen. Het personeel is vriendelijk. voor één overnachting en ontbijt voor twee personen is de ruim €96 dus eigenlijk aan de hoge kant. omgeving is erg mooi, volgende keer wel een ander hotel.

  Hotel Gulpen at Gulpen
  
  Like :
  - Restaurant : food, win and service
  - Wifi for free including in the room
  - The room and hotel decoration
  
  Not like :
  - Acoustic isolation between rooms and hall : we can hear everything from the next room : toilet, shower, Like if the person on the next take the shower in our room
  - The parking is too short
  - No French channel on Tv
  - The view from the room
