Not the one if you are looking for safety: We were taking breakfast and while refilling coffee a couple of extrangers (not staying at the hotel) take a couple of purses from our chairs and run past the door with their belongings (all of them - money, passport, credit cards, etc).
Hotel is not being responsible for the damages caused - How come you let male strangers walk in, go to the breakfast room, take some ladies purses, run like crazy to the door and go out without someone stopping them?
I mean, if it was an open place I understand it but how come they didn't did nothing to stop the thieves if they saw them running?
Our trip was completely ruinned and they just didn't held responsibility or rewarded us somehow for having an unsafe hotel.
Hotel is clean and neat though. Just not that safe like others in the city. This is not our first time here and we just can't believe what just happened.response / report this review -

Bed springs all coming up very uncomfortable feels like I’m sleeping on Metal. plus when booking didn’t know that it was non refundable sadly I’m stuck will not book for my January trip back. Staff was awesome and room semi clean walls dirty. No bed bugs.

Great location. Closer to all transport and SPAR supermarket is in the ground floor. I got room with the view to park. Friendly attending staff. Even though check out time is 12 and my flight was at 8pm they had baggage store room to keep my baggage and do some shopping until my taxi arrived. Staff help me to find shops too. Once I locked door keeping my key card inside and staff promptly gave me another key card. They had good breakfast also. I stayed for Unite Europe Conference. Attending staff, closer to all public transport, close supermarket, 5-10 mints away from Amsterdam Central and Recommended to stay.

Exactly what it is. Holiday Inn Express. I couldnt escape the thought that it wouldn't hurt them to equip rooms a bit better for their price range, but even so it is good enough. Situated on Sloterdijk station it is actually 10 minutes away from Amsterdam Centraal by train. So it does feel like being close to center for lesser price. Exactly what I was looking for.

Hotel is well managed in a really nice area. Staff is great, especially Sherilyn, Roxanne and Claudia from breakfast. The night shift is amazing! Rooms are well maintained and housekeeping is doing a great job! Thank you!

Hotel staff were friendly, the breakfast selection was also great. Trains to the centre only take 5mins to get to the centre, which is really convenient for travel. No complaints about the location and service, also is quite cheap to stay!

Very nice and clean hotel that is connected to the train which connects to Schipol airport. Using this hotel as a connection to all the major cities in Holland couldn't be easier from this hotels location. The staff is incredibly helpful with all your travel needs. The only downside is the bed seemed kind of small and hard like a cheap Ikea mattress.

The hotel is just fine. Spar store on the ground level is very convenient for essentials or a snack. Front desk staff are polite and helpful. Decently priced too.
The carpet in my room was pretty tired and was a few years overdue for replacement. If you stay on the same side as the tracks, you do get a fair bit of noise from the trains. Also, the mattress was had seen better days and I could feel every spring poking through when laying down. Overall an alright hotel, just in need of a few updates.response / report this review -

The room was nice and comfortable. Free breakfast was more than adequate. The hallway carpets were a bit worn and dirty. The location can't be beat for train access to Amsterdam central and the airport. There is also a convenience store right next door. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Great hotel, conveniently located next to sloterdijk station, perfect for getting into the centre of Amsterdam. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. The continental breakfast included was varied and tasty. Staff are really friendly and efficient. As you are next to the station there is the noise of trains as they go past. If noise bothers you I would maybe think of an alternative location, however within the hour I was acclimatised and it did not bother me. All in all a great hotel in a handy location.

Excellent service. By having a membership, we can check in at very early in the morning, dont really need to wait until 15.00. The breakfast was so good with variety of food. The staffs are very helpful. We check out at 12 but leave the luggage until 9pm. Service is so good. Can't have any complaint.

Great convenient location, right beside the train station. The breakfast was satisfying and enjoyable with good food and variety. Staff was friendly.
The only concerns we've got were that trash was still left in the room from the previous guest, one of which included his personal information; and there was no electricity on our second night so we couldn't use the toilet and had to walk up 6 floors to our room in the dark as there was no emergency lights.
But overall, a good and rather satisfying stay.response / report this review
