Groningen University Theatre Society - GUTS

GUTS stands for "Groningen University Theatre Society". It is the RUG English department's drama society and its history has been traced back as early as 1968, when Everything in the Garden, by L. Cooper, was performed under the name E.S.C. Drama Society. Over the past years, GUTS has developed into a full-fledged, really cool theatre which keeps on going with USVA subsidy, members, friends and sponsors. Every year GUTS performs at least one play, brought to the audience in the English language.

In 40 years we have done a lot of plays, some short, some long, sometimes one a year, sometimes even so much as three, and we plan on continuing doing this for a very long time. If you feel inclined of joining this strange, energetic group of actors, crew, and boardmembers, just send us a message.
