You can see the glory of the past in this café. It's a common venue for regular events, from tango dancing to trivia nights. Enjoy the views of the Burcht from the big windows.

Nice place in city centre to visit. There is nice cafe in it. You can view city from but you might have trouble with trees

I lived in Leiden for many years and always wanted to go here. Now on vacation I finally got the chance to go. It was a fun visit, with a gorgeous view on a warm summers day.

Nice 360 view over the city along with explanations in English of different buildings and monuments, completely free. They should cut the branches of the trees though since they block part of the view.
