Not to my standards, got a rude answer when I asked when the food will be done because it had been an hour. And then I got 6 pieces.

Great sauna. The new island is a nice addition. They should add another sauna on the island.

We had a fabulous 24 hrs at the Fort Resort Beemster. It's a unique place. Taking a pre-world war 2 defense bunker and turning it into a boutique hotel and spa is fantastic. The architects did a superb job that leaves guests with an experience that blends the modern contemporary chic with the bold brutalism of the past. The hotel rooms are pleasant and modern in design, matching the 4+ star rating. We experienced dinner and breakfast during our stay and the food was excellent. Creative and tasty. There service was also very good.

The spa itself offers a fantastic variety of different saunas', pools, jacuzzis and wellness options. Both inside and outside there is plenty of variety. A great place to relax and recharge.

My only criticism was that the staff did not explain or introduce the elements of our stay well enough when we arrived. It would have been nice to have a bit more of a welcome and explanation. There is really so much to this place from its design to its facilities.

If you like spa hotels this is a must to try out. If you stay at the hotel I would recommend a package that includes breakfast, dinner and entry to the spa. It's a lovely treat and a superb way to spend 24hrs with someone special.

Weent to the sauna. Location and facilities are really nice. They added a new beach. The food always feels like they try to hard to make it special. The staff can be a bit unfriendly. For example they got the wrong side dish and when I asked for a replacement they questioned if I really had asked for that. And then they took the whole dish back. I verified with my spouse and she confirmed I did ask for that side dish.

It is a nice resort and relaxing but when I went in my room my bed was not made and they didn't carry my luggage up to the room
