Expensive for what you get, glad my company was paying for it. Basically, no aircon and small rooms. Avoid 410 at all cost. Even their bigger family rooms, to which I was generously upgraded, isn't that large (I don't really want to know what they normally charge for it).
Nosy road next to it, there are more traffic than you would think.
Good breakfast, although nothing extra-ordinary, especially for a 4*.
Great location.
Rooms Clean and Modern but small, the restaurant and bar are friendly with food 4/5
Rooms are clean, is quiet, friendly staff, breakfast was great and it's placed on the river side. Please notice that the hotel is been refurbished, so it now looks good, as first I read here negative reviews which are couple of years old.
Never again
Bathrooms are awful, an ad hoc attachment without ventilation. Rooms are spacious though basic. Beds are comfortable. We had some initial problems with staff, although management dealt with this with free drinks and profuse apologies. One huge boon is the food; it is really good! In fact they also serve the hotel next door.
Food was good though not very special
The room was big, i will say massive compared to UK hotels. This is an old Victorian style hotel with very high ceiling. Windows are big and tall. However this is an old hotel which needs some upgrade. Everything looks old, including the bed and towels. There was no exhaust fan in the toilet and a notice say keep the toilet door open after use so that it will ventilate to the room! The carpets stink and the entire hotel had a fishy smell. Hotel do not have a parking space, but street parking is available nearby at 10.60 EUR per day. Free WiFi available. Breakfast is free, but very basic. Having said that the location is good, right in front of the river and opposite the train station.
Terrible hotel - I travel for work and this is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Very noisy, dirty, useless curtains, old beds, small scruffy rooms Don't stay here!
