We checked in at Hotel/Brasserie Den Handwijzer on Friday evening. We had a warm welcome by the owner, he was very nice and took us to our room.
As a side note: I mixed up several appointments and booked the Hotel one week to early, which I didn't notice until I got a call from the Hotel. So I reserved the rooms again and was angry with myself that I would have to pay twice. To my surprise, I didn't have to, this made me very happy and I got a good start in the weekend.
The rooms were not very big, but tidy, clean and tasteful decorated, I immediately felt really comfortable. The only negative thing about our room was the missing window in the bathroom.
In the morning, we got breakfast at the Brasserie, the hotelier was very nice again and put a lot of effort in the breakfast to make us feel welcome.
All in all I was very surprised to find such a nice, small Hotel in "the middle of nowhere" and I will definitely come back next time!response / report this review -
