  Wow - just wow! Our visit to "De Smulpot" actually opened my eyes and made me learn how impressive and good spare ribs actually can be. Really: it was a pleasure and a true experience having those spare ribs and I can strongly recommend them to anyone! Skip those "all you can eat spare ribs" offers you can get somewhere else on Texel and really just get them once at De Smulpot - you won't regret. And no, you won't be hungry afterwards.
  
  Other than that the Burger my girlfriend had was quite amazing, too. Last but not least: we really liked the atmosphere and the kindness of the service. It's higher-class service, really professional without being too distant. Very personal and welcoming. We'll definitely come back! Our #1 reason to visit Texel!

  Very nice hotel, right in the centre of Den Burg. From here we rented an e-bike and cycled around the whole island of Texel. Highly recommended!
