Very cozy place, with a friendly staff and good restaurant. Near to the Giethoorn city center.

A good place to rent a boat to take a 2 hour trip through giethoorn and the lake. They serve good drinks and they also have a good service. Everything looks very nice from the front lawn to the back garden where you can have a drink. Overall a very good experience

We rent all the time boats from this company . After we go to eat in their restaurant, they have nice food. There is a playgarden for the children close to the tears, so we can watch them all the time. Big parking place for free.

We came here to rent a boat. The staff at the hotel were very unfriendly. Did not want to let us use the bathroom. At the end of the sail we sat at the restaurant and one person had a beer. After 5 minutes they came to tell us that we cant sit there since we took just 1 beer and actually made us leave even though the place was 90% empty.

    Really bad.

A cozy bed & breakfast, with a nice continental style breakfast of toasts and yogurts, cold-cuts and fruits, and coffee and teas. They have bike and boat rentals, which made exploring the area much more convenient.

My only gripe was when we realized that there wasn't a hairdryer in the room. The room does not a phone to call the front desk. The front desk is part of the dining room, which closes after dinner. So when I walk into the lobby, dining room/front desk is locked, I see from outside, another room where the staff is probably unwinding, watching TV, and socializing. When I knocked on that door, it becomes deathly silent.

    I wait.
    I hear whispering.

I knock again, muttering that I could still hear them, and continue to wait. Finally, the proprietor comes around thru the dining room and I ask for a hairdryer. She goes back in, apparently walking back to the room I was knocking, and she opens it up, handing me a hairdryer (I notice that the room is completely dark, and yet their TV is still on).

It's like they were hoping I would just disappear if they just kept quiet.

Anyway, I got my hairdryer, I don't care. We're squared.
