Outdated and obsolete. Could use a major improvement. All in all, in my opinion, you would not miss out on anything. But might be nice to go to with your (grand)children.
It's ok. I think is great for kids, bit but just ok for adults. It's entertaining tho. Payed €18.00 and I found it a bit overpriced. It's a guided tour of 55 min + some interactive museum
Excellent place to take your kids to. Good learning experience and some fun stuff too. I would say 6 years and up.
Wonderful and interactive way to learn about the body. The staff were so helpful, as I was in my wheelchair, and they really looked after me. The children loved it and as you go round in small groups it was never so busy that the children didn't have to wait long to have a go on things. Absolutely brilliant museum. :-)
We enjoyed the exhibit. There were surprises around every corner. However, most of the information was very basic, and sometimes simplified to the point of being inaccurate (e.g., that the left hemisphere is exclusively dedicated to logic and the right solely to emotions). There was also other inaccurate information (that there are specific taste regions on the tongue). Overall, we enjoyed it, but a lot of it is show.
The ticket price of the attraction is obviously overpriced, the level of the language used is not suited for audience with basic knowledge, but since the given information is very shallow it is also not reaching to advanced level. The presentation about the body is very fragmentarily and not logical. If you have the audiotour in the few languages would be also nice to provide the information during exhibition after the tour in them. It's ridiculous to pay the 6 euro for the parking on the middle of the field full surrounded by prohibited parking signs, looks like you are forced to pay it. 3 stars only because my 8 years old daughter liked it, trough I don't think so she understand much from it ...
I am surprised to read how educative Corups is. It is not either for people how know a lot about the human body, or for people who do know anything. It is because the knowledge is presended fragmentory. To give an example: if you listen to the story about the orygin of human, you get a nice presentation about fertilization, you go to the uterus and... there is no scheme of a women where actually this uterus is and why is the featus coming to the uterus: what for? I would expect to see a drowing of women indicating ''uterus is localized here in the belly of the mother; it is a house in which baby can grow, get get food, oxygen, in which it can move, turn and even pee''. In Corpus, the baby is called featus, but a child of 8 has no idea what featus is. And this is not explained. Similarly with breathing: where are these lungs? we were taken immidiately inside of the lungs. Or to the kidneys. Why not show just a simple scheme of human body to point it out, where are these organs localized. Actually 90% of the story goes about the red blood cell which bring the oxygen all over the body....
The idea is perfect, travel through the body with a lift was nice but not educative.
very interesting discovery of the human body through a walking tour within the body.
Fun and interesting place to take older kids. Lots of hands on projects and activities. I would have liked to explore each section on my own, but they have a sort of tour guide that takes you from floor to floor of the body.
Very interesting tour containing lots of information. Highly recommended to visit this Museum-like Tour.
