Rooms are ok. Floor (wooden) had very clear marks from cleaning. Very noisy at night in the weekends cause of a bar strip downstairs. We calculated that so for us it was 'ok' Friendly staff and breakfast was good and plentiful.

Our roomed smelled like wunderbaum and was extremely warm. There was an extremely noisy airconditoner on the room that drew air from one of the windows. That airconditoner started to smell like pee after a few hours. You could also not sleep unless you have earplugs because our room was on the corner and the sound from the street and the clubs was insanely overwhelming and impossible to shut out. Bathroom contained a bathtub that was dirty. Breakfast was ok, staff was friendly and the location is superb.

This hotel lost two stars on the breakfast. Rooms are charming, but the bfast is a huge dissapointment. Slices of cheese, bacon and a bowl of that can fruit with the sickening sweet cherries. Its like what you eat if you stop by a bad store on the highway. If you want anything fresh for breakfast, like fresh fruit or fresh veggies, or even a ok brand of tea, head somewhere else.

We stayed here one night. The staff is welcoming and good .Food is good too (we ate breakfast). One of the pluses is that it is located in the center.

Well situated Hotel in the centre of Tilburg.
The only real downside is the noise of the surrounding Pubs/ Bars and Club. If you have a light sleep better bring some Oropax.
Very Friendly staff and helpful information at the reception desk.

All in all. Pleasant stay at the City Hotel. Would come back.

No A/C in my room, but other than that it is A good deal for the area.
