In Engels: I have a pure-breed cat, Sacred Burmese, and the level of proactiveness, professionality, knowledge and care shown by this practice is truly unbelievable. My cat was on death's door due to incompetence of a prior vet, and this dierenziekenhuis is great. From the personal attention, clear communications and guidance from the vets, to the helpfulness and care shown by the 'nurses' (assistants), as I call them, it's absolutely brilliant. I have dealt with two vet's in Amsterdam, who were both supposedly good, but these guys stand head and shoulders above them. Can't recommend them more.

The best prices in the city for basic pet care, i.e. Vaccinations, neutering. Late hours with 24 hours emergency service. The vets here are excellent!

We have been with Caressa for eight years now and we have great faith in the clinic and in the all the people who work for the clinic, from the people at the front desk to the vets. My spouse and I have seen the care and commitment they all have for the animals they treat and also the humans they interact with. Right now our cat is gravely ill and the extra care and tenderness and personal attention she has received from Talitha and Piene has been extraordinary. It is so important that those who care for the animals also care about them and this clinic has time after time illustrated how much the people who work for them do so. If you love your companion animals as much as we do, this is the place to have them be treated at.

Very good for emergency and specialized care. For regular care i like to have a dierenarts aan huis service but for critical care this is the best care i have found in amsterdam. The available diagnostics are superior. My cat had heart failure, spent some time in their care and was diagnosed by their cardiologist. He was seen right away and while this required expensive diagnostics like xrays and echocardiogram, overnight care and a drugstore of medications the price was very reasonable. Well Under 400. 24 hour service is a big bonus. The drawback, why i gave 4 out of 5 stars is the lack of personalized, involved care i find with an at home vet service. Email exchanges with specialist doctors took days to get answers. In a critically ill patient that is adjusting to medications that is too long and the info becomes irrelevant.

Very professional and they really care about the pets and treat then like patients and try to dl what they can to help. Unfortunately I got there a bit late as my little baby was sick from a bad and rare shunt on his liver more then 5 years. Sadly he died bjt they really did wjat they could to help until the end. Well Recommend if you search for a serious and good veterinary in Amsterdam.

I only moved from London with my cats 3 weeks ago, and suddenly found myself with an ill and unhappy boy. I was recommended these guys by someone at work, and they were lovely. They didn't demand loads of history, and fitted him in within half an hour. The vet was great, and really put him and me at ease. Charlie Cat was very professionally and humanly cared for, and it only cost 40 euros or so for the consultation. Way cheaper than London, for a much nicer service! Happy to recommend to anyone! :)
