best pancakes house ever! especially for kids! the location is very nice, in the middle of the forest but 5 min walking from the parking lot. the venue is very characteristic too!
there is a big garden for sunny days with nice playground and other facilities for young and not so young kids.
even many animals like peacocks and deers.
the pancakes are awsome large and for a good price! you can even have vegan ones of call and order them before 11am!
there is no service at the tables but the young guys working there always make sure everything is clean right after the meal!

A really cozy and friendly restaurant engulfed by nature. Spacious and family friendly. Pancakes were fantastic and would highly recommend for anyone looking to taste unique Dutch pancakes

My favourite place to eat Dutch pancakes. There are so many different kinds of pancakes. My favourite will always be bacon, cheese with syrup.

You van either sit inside or outside. It is great to sit outside when the weather allows. Afterwards it is nice to take a walk in the forest. When you're in around Amsterdam this is definitely worth a visit!

Have been going here for many years because it's the best pancakes in Amsterdam by far. One of the few places that prepares with fresh milk, which is the original recipe. Strongly suggest to eat the pancakes here. Beautifuo to sit outside and see the trees and feel the calmness. Lovely.

There is a large playground for the children and a few animals. Which will keep them busy for a long time. The place is located in a nice park where you can walk around.
Food is good, mostly pancakes. Price is fine.
Even in weekends, when there is a lot of people there, it doesn't feel crowded.

It's a nice place to go inside the forest. Especially with nice weather. A good place for families with kids. They have a mini farm, a play ground for children (not very suitable for babies) and a terrace outside. You can also sit inside of the restaurant. It is an open buffet and they make very good pancakes! The staff is very friendly. The lady at the cash deck (I think she was the owner or the wife of the owner) was was very patient and helpful to the customer in front of me. The man who worked in the kitchen was really nice and helpful as well.

The only thing was that it is not clear where to order your pancakes as there were no signs. Some people kept looking and waiting around (the buffet area is not that big) not knowing where to get pancakes. Maybe they can put some clear signs showing people where to go so they can have a better flow. So pancakes you can order at the cash deck and you will get a receipt which you bring to the kitchen. They will give you a device so you can sit and wait until the device ligthen up and vibrates. So you know you can pick up your order.

Would definitely recommend this place to any of you!

Today I was visiting the park and my bike chain fell off. I walked my bike and found this place. It was already closed then but people from the restaurant were super warm-hearted, trying the best to repair for almost half an hour, and finally got it fixed. I forgot to take my backpack with me when I left, and the staff drove all the way to find me at the lake site, and gave it back to me. Thank you so much for your help! Amazing people. I'll definitely come back for the pancakes! :)

Cannot think of this place without hearing a peacock screeching somewhere in the back of my mind (they're particularly loud in summer).

A family-run and family-friendly farm/cafeteria in the middle of the forest that has remained consistently good over the years. This is THE place for the Traditional Dutch Pancake so don't be fooled by any of the other food options they have on offer: it's the pancakes you as well as everyone else is here for. And those are at their finest! Light, puffy, sweet as well as savory and a full satisfying meal in their own. Not too cheap but definitely not overpriced like every other pannekoekhuisje you'll come across in the center (I implore tourists take note).

Popular with kids and the elderly (often, extremely so).

I have known this place my whole life and the remote location inside the forest always makes it a worthy destination.

The setting is absolutely beautiful!! And cycling to the venue is the best thing you can do. Personally I wasn't a fan of the food and the coffee was terrible.
