Very friendly staff. Enough parking in front of the hotel. Nice location at a lake. A bit far from Venlo. 2-3 km to the city. Swimming pool with 30 degrees Celsius water temperature. Sauna und steam bath are nice. Big rooms with very nice bath rooms and comfortable bed. But no heater in bath. Breakfast is average, not superior for four stars. We didn't check the restaurant for dinner.

We have had a lovely stay here and hope to return. The room we were in had the largest balcony we've ever had at a hotel! Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, one of the best breakfast buffets ever, friendly staff

Quite an unusual, but nice, hotel. Location is very nice and the building itself is attractive. My double room was in fact a room with two (comfortable) single beds pushed together but was otherwise clean, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was overall good. My meal was a little bland, but mint companions' were all bet nice, so I can put things down to a one off, the staff are excellent, very attentive and friendly. I was only starting for a single night and so did not have lots of time at the hotel and the grounds, but would be happy to return.

A special experience. Hotel is great, clean, good facilities. Nature around it spectacular. Great for various types of outdoor activities. Only recommendation would be to come with a car. Easier to move around outside Venlo if need be.

This is a nice hotel which has a unique location by the lake, nothing else but a hotel and swans around you. Breakfast included, some rooms have a porch and some just big. Our room had separated toilet and bathroom - sometimes you do need it when you are a couple. The stuff are really friendly and make your stay really comfortable like home.
Comparing to similar hotel we visited in Venlo (Van Der Valk), Bilderberg is much better. I been staying there for a month and it felt like home. They even brought me cookies because I liked them so much (-:response / report this review -

Beautiful hotel with lovely outside area alongside a lake surrounded by Forrest and walking trails. Close to city centre and great meals.

Absolutely a wonderful hotel with great facilities. The rooms are big and comfortable. The food at the restaurent is ok. It looks very good, but there is to much fine dining over its looks. And the taste and quality of the food can't quite live up to the way it looks. Sometimes less is more.
