It's an outlet village with big brand names. From designer clothing, sports shops, perfumes and foodit's all here. You need half a day to finish this place off. Bring your wallet, even though you are going to save big. Try to exceed 50 Euros per invoice as to qualify for the Tax refund. They have a Global Blue office on sight so you can actually redeem your tax refund after you finished shopping, this will save you time in the Airport. Ride from Amsterdam Central to Lelystad centrum, then take the buss to the Batavia Stad Fashion outlets (the busses are outside the gates of the train station so you won't miss it). Enjoy the day and shop till you drop.
Open-air mall. Great place to pick up clothes which you wouldn't get in other shops in a city centre. Sometimes the sales are really good. A lil on the pricey side.
Nice outdoor shopping area, bring an umbrella if it rains. Its out of the way, but nive in that it is not full and has a surprising amount of stores. Big cafeteria at the end that has really good food at good prices, and a view onto the water.
It is a comparatively small outlet. Quite a few shops though some of the high fashion ones hold what looks like old stock. Some shops have friendly staff and some don't. There is a shuttle from Amsterdam to there. At present it may seem that it is better to look at other options, but soon they are supposed to have more openings there. It is not very popular with the Dutch people.
Ugggh. Why? I like that the Dutch normally don't build this out of town soul destroying waste of a day. Avoid this materialistic blood sucking booby trap, and enjoy what this beautiful country really has to offer.
Cant wait to go again to Batavia for buying more&more fashion. It is great place with often sales&very good quality of products. Butbrands remain brands. There are also shops with not good quality&cheap or non cheap prices.
We took the shuttle bus from Amsterdam Centraal to Batavia. Was about 1 hour to get there. We received 12 10% off coupons fir taking the trip which saved quite a bit of money. Shopping was fun and the mal was not overly busy during the morning. Afternoon was quite a bit busier but still bearable. Overall a great day trip from Amsterdam.
Great location and concept incorporating the wharf into the outlet. Great choices, beautfully themed, reasonable parking fee. Missing plus size clothing choices.
Awesome place for shopping, the buildings are built to took like a haven city which looks so beautiful. There aren't bikes in this city and you can park outside for very cheap price the whole day, about 4 Euro's. The restaurant was very cosy and had tasty food, entering the bathroom is free and shopping during sale could land you very cheap prices of very expensive designer clothes.
Cute place, cool idea. Stores are standard. Other than the marine city theme, nothing very spectacular is going on.
A real let down. More style than substance. No real deals. All show and no trousers.
If you like fashion a nice place to be. Choose some nice weather there is not a lot of shelter outside te stores.
If you like shopping for branded clothes this is the place you should be. It has some food facilities for taking a break now and then. The area is clean and accessible. Stuff is priced well for branded stuff.
I loved this place. Especially for people who want to do lots of shopping and buy high end brands. Extremely reasonable rates and amazing. You need to have full day for this place.
