They have really nice bread, and what was totally unexpected was that they have really nice frozen yogurt as desert! It’s said that they change their menu every 3-6 months, last time the food we had wasn’t so nice but this time they are improving 👍

The food and service was great, my only issue was the seating and the atmosphere. We made a booking for a Friday night so we knew it would be busy, but the original table we were seated at was near the front door (poor lighting and drafty) with uncomfortable chairs and rickety table (it moved with every touch). It should either be replaced or turned into a waiting area, it was really bad. We asked to be seated elsewhere (as did the couple next to us, so it wasn't just me), and waited 40 minutes (the wait wasn't an issue, we expected it). The atmosphere was dark and loud - at a table for two were were shouting the whole time. We were there for nearly three hours, so the house music and shouting got old fast. I should say, our server and hostess were super kind re: the reseating and wait, and we got an appetizer on the house. The food is great. I still recommend it, but if you're a quiet or impatient person like me, go on a Monday or Tuesday.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights and it was okay. The color of the room seemed to be fancy but in fact it made the room very dark. The hotel is very dark at all. The shower is on the same floor with the washbasin, so everything gets wet which was really annoying. The breakfast is also ok but lacking variety. So for two nights it was ok.

Badhu is a restaurant and hotel in an historic building which was originally a bath house. Though I've never stayed in the rooms, the pictures look quite appealing. The restaurant serves delicious and varied dishes. Since the portions aren't too big, it's easy to share three or four items between two people. The combinations of ingredients are sometimes unexpected, but when they come together, the flavors are wonderfully balanced. With plenty of seating both inside and outside, Badhu's restaurant and bar is suitable for large families as well as groups. I'll certainly be back!
