  La Colonia stores are high-end, really good places to shop here in Nicaragua for food. Most have bakeries that produce fresh bread daily. They are a bit more expensive, but you will find most everything you want.

  Probably the best grocery chain in Nicaragua. Prices are close to competitors and they have many US brands and food types available.

  Small supermarket, you can find your basic groceries. If additional items are needed they have a larger store called Hyper Colonia near Galerías Mall.

  Big supermarket with many foreign brands. Prices are more expensive but has variety, service and great facilities to offer. Ample parking and usually short lines at the counter.
