  Really nice little artisanal leather workshop with store. They have beautiful things for both women and men.

  I was there last Saturday afternoon and wanted to send my wife a photo of a purse, so that she could decide if she wanted it. The owner rushed over and very rudely stopped me from taking any photos. She said it was to prevent anyone from copying her designs. She then said my wife could look at her website for photos of the purses. Seriously?? If photos of her purses are available on her website, then anyone with internet access can copy her designs!
  
  The owner is rude and clearly does not value customer service. The leather shop just down the street is much more customer-friendly!
  
  I have never written an online review prior to this, but I was so shocked by the owner's behavior that I felt compelled to write a review.

  If you're looking for a great gift to bring back home (or hey, something for yourself, let's be honest) Soy Nica is the place to visit. All items in the stores are finely crafted leather goods made locally. Belts, purses, key chains, backpacksthe list is long. Definitely a place to check out!

  Beautiful bags made of leather of local cows and by local people, very stylish! They are a bit more expensive then you would find them on local art craft markets. However, the design is great and definitely aims at the taste of western tourists.
  I can totally recommend this store.
