I ordered a steak churrasco medium and the beef really was delicious, melting on the tongue. For sure it was not the most expensive steak or some special kind of meat. But with the surrounding and the kind and quick service it was worth it’s ~15 US$.

Nice location.
You sit directly at the beach (20-30m sand until the water), if you want (or there is space) you can even get a table in the sand, down the terrace.

Absolutely a pleasure to dine. Fantastic attention by wait staff. Food is beyond expectations. I've been to resorts in Mexico that do not match the culinary quality at Vivían.

In my opinion this is the best on-the-water restaurant in San Juan Del Sur. They have great happy hour deals, amazing seafood, a professional staff who can even deal with the annoying tourists optimistically, and a killer view of the bay. If you're visiting San Juan Del Sur, you should check this place out in the early evening to see the sunset. Oh, they also have live music in the evenings.

Great service, location, ambiance and food. The staff was very nice and the food was great. A bottle of beer is $1 during happy hours. That is the price in the supermarket. Great value for money with amazing service.

I wanted so badly to leave a better review because of the great service, live music, and ocean view. However the food was not good at all. The prices are much higher than anywhere else I have seen in Nica, $12.50 for Alfredo with shrimp. Don't get it, the Alfredo "sauce" is the consistency of water and didn't stick to my noodles at all. They also brought out my food with tons of ham on top and when I explained that I didn't eat meat the waiter went to fix it. Two min later he returned with the same plate that just had the ham picked off by the kitchen. I still found pieces of ham in my food. Yuck! My husband got the fish (grilled) and the two sides that came with it was very meager. It wasn't a complete meal.
