  The service was almost as terrible as the food. The waitress forgot our beverages and the entrees, never came close to our table we had to get up every time. I asked for a vegetarian super burrito with mole and I got a tortilla with rice and beans, I asked for nachos and the tortillas sucked.

  Went twice with my wife. She liked the smoothies and I liked the micheladas. The salsas were good. They still had fat tortillas which I did not like, but that's all there is in Nicaragua. My understanding is that the owner (husband) is Mexican. On our first visit, the waitress didn't put "no cheese" on the ticket. When we told her, she just sort of stood there (common) however the owner (wife) told her to pick it up and assured us that she'd be out with a new burrito for my wife ASAP. You may be thinking "big deal." You must not have spent much time in Nicaragua. They actually understand customer service in a way most places fail to understand at even a basic level.
  
  Both times we went there were foreigners so it's popular with the visitors. I would put this place as the best "sit down" Mexican in the whole of Matagalpa. I think it was worth the trip. Owners are very friendly, the food is good, what else could you ask for?!?

  Excellent food , great portions , lovely ambience and charming hostess - Maria .

  Quite good food and served by a very friendly hostess. Her man seems to be a real mexican guy. They should be on TripAdvisor too.

  Lovely place with great food and very helpful and friendly stuff. Prices are 90-120 cords for a meal, very affordable.
