Much smaller than a Maxi Pali, but it does the trick if you need a few groceries while staying in SJDS.

If you see something you like buy as much as you can because it probably won't be there when you come back.
We shop there 3 times a week because there is no choice here in SJDS.

The cheapest super in town. Located 1 km from downtown offers a good choice of products at the best price you can find in the area. Not enormous but big enough. Not crowded as hell. If you are planning a long stay the place to be. You have taxi to this place from downtown San Juan for 20 córdobas, 66 cents.

A local market with a very limited selection. This is the place to go if you're buying beans and rice but they don't offer much of a selection in other departments.

Pali is your typical country store, but their meet counter isn't great. I've received bad meat from them in the past.

Palis in SJdS has the BASICS. It is difficult to find anyone to help but when/if you do they are super nice.

Supermarket offering the basics. Meats are good and basic processed foods. Good dtink section with rum, beer and wine.

There is everything in that super market, almost everything and you can find very fast your items, but you spent 30 minutes to pa6 at the counter. Bad service to client.

This is a Pali, like every other. A chain store owned by Walmart. They have a broad selection of the majority of your supermarket needs. Fresh veggies, meats, beer, wine, liquor, etc.

Not a good stock in different types of ingredients to make a good meal, good meats section, just the basic things, there are little family owned stores in town that carries a much wider selection of things.
