  Arrived in El Castillo to the warm greeting of the family run Nena Lodge. The private room with bath was simple, clean, and had a perfect local charm. The common area second floor porch has great hammocks where I could people watch as well as enjoy river views. Took a nature tour with the Nena Lodge guides and had an adventure of a lifetime. Great Wi-Fi, coffee and breakfast everyday. What more could you want when looking to venture hours into the beautiful jungles of Nicaragua. I highly recommend Nena Lodge and Tours if visiting El Castillo.

  It's $15 for a single room with private bathroom. Rooms are separated with cardboards. You can hear your neighbour snoring, his alarm clock, you can even smell his anti-perspirant. Anyone walking on the floor outside sways your room. WiFi paid, $1 per day.

  El hotel nena lodge ofrece avitaciones del agrado del que lo visita es muy natural ofrece turs de caimanes muy impresionantes y aqui no termina todo su hospitalidad es maravillosa tanto como sus administradores que son muy dulces y carismaticos el hotel es mas que genial es un lugar por decir magico donde viviras experiencias maravillosas y su wi fi es el mejor del pueblo.

  Es precisamente lo que se espera de un lodge: pequeño, acogedor, con espacios comunes.
  
  Los propietarios son gente de lo más simpática y cálida.
