great place? for managua but you have tonpY 5 cordoba to get in and the beers and food are slightly more expensive then most places but if your in managua it's a must see and the museum is right up the street

Such a beautiful place.
The ferry ride across can get bumpy, but well worth the voyage to get to the island.
The trip over makes me think of Jurassic park - you slowly come up on an island with two giant volcanoes - all it is missing is a few dinosaurs!

Great place , beach front and most visited lago or lake of Nicaragua. Recently well developed by Intur, ministry of tourism of Nicaragua.

A magical lake. Lots of personality and diverse Migratory birds. Nicer the farther you get from cities, since runoff isn't fun. Don't miss Ometepe.
