  The only hotel in Leon that dates back to the 1800s the property is spectacular. The neo classic rooms on the second floor of the original house are big and confortable. The staff is very well trained. Its located 2 short blocks north of the cathedral. If you stay you are in for a pleasent surprise.

  Leon: For the price, newer, nicer Linens and a desk and chair would be a nice addition to the rooms. The building is old but decently maintained. Clean enough to not have to complain. The staf was great and fluent in English. For Cental America, the room size was good and the AC worked well. Finally a hotel that has HOT water. Wi-Fi was good and the room had a safe. Safe neighborhood and only a block or two from attractions and night life. I probably would stay again if I revisit Leon.

  Pleasant place, good breakfast. However the place is spoiled by lack of maintenance. I have uploaded some pictures of our bathroom to show you what I mean: missing towel rail, maladjusted taps, missing bath spout (so you actually could not fill the bath).

  Great place to vacation near lots of restaurant's and casino across the street lots of historical places near by.

  The location of the hotel on Google maps is incorrect, it's actually across the street from what's indicated (casino La Perla occupies that spot).
  
  Our room in the hotel was large, clean and comfortable. AC worked well as did the hot water. Breakfast was nice on the veranda. The two courtyards are calming and relaxing. Perhaps it's the time of year but the hotel felt kind of dead.
